About our mades
Are your jewelry handmade?
Yes! All of our jewelries are original designs by us and meticulously handcrafted with love and attention to detail.
What materials do you use?
We use a variety of beads & pendants, mainly:
- Japanese glass beads - Miyuki, Matsuno (MGB) and Toho beads.
Japanese glass beads are delicately made to be turned into unique pieces, they are consistent in size and the shine last longer than mass manufactured beads. This is why Japanese beads usually cost twice of those standard beads. We sourced most of these beads from Japan as they do not sell outside of the country. - Unique pendants, stones and quartz
We collect different charms as we travel the world. They may range from natural stones to pearl, quartz to glass pendants.
Precious Metals: Sterling Silver, Gold-filled, and sometimes 14k Gold
Why does the actual product sometimes look different in color than in the photo?
Slight variation might occur due to few possible reasons: photography lighting:, device display, image editing & material properties. If you have any doubt, feel free to check with us on the color!
Do you offer customization options?
Yes, we do! Please contact us to inquire about custom orders and availability.
Is your jewelry sensitivity-proof?
While we strive to use materials that are generally well-tolerated by most people with sensitive skin, we cannot guarantee that our jewelry will be completely irritation-free for everyone. Individual sensitivities vary greatly. Some people may react to even the purest metals, while others can wear a wide range of materials without issue.
Ordering & Shipping
How do I place an order?
Simply browse our collection, select the items you love, and add them to your cart. Proceed to checkout and follow the on-screen instructions.
What are your payment methods?
We accept credit card payment via Stripe payment gateway.
How long will it take to receive my order?
As all pieces are handmade upon order, it will typically take 7 calendar days for us to create and deliver your order.
What if I need my order sooner?
While 7 days is our standard processing and delivery time, please contact us at info@madebycatleo.com if you require expedited shipping. We'll do our best to accommodate your request.
Do you ship internationally?
We provide shipping to Singapore & Malaysia at the moment.
What are your shipping options?
For shipments within Singapore, we offer tracked postage via Singpost. For shipments to Malaysia, we offer tracked postage via Singpost, DHL or FedEx Postage fees will be applied upon checkout.
Can I cancel my order?
Due to the handmade nature of our products, we are unable to offer order cancellations. Each piece is crafted with care and specifically for you upon order.
Return & Refund
What is your return policy?
We offer a 7-day return policy for exchange or store credit refund. Find out more below.
What products are eligible for return?
We offer a 7-day return policy from successful delivery date on products* that fulfill the conditions below:
- In brand new, unused condition with no signs of use or damage.
- Must be returned in its original packaging, which may include the box, fabric & sealable pouch.
- Return must be initiated within 7 calendar day from the date of the package arrives at your doorstep.
*Due to hygiene reasons, earrings are not eligible for return.
What products are not eligible for return?
Products that fall under any categories or fulfill any of the conditions below are not eligible for return:
- Earrings (due to hygiene reasons)
- Sales item
- Complimentary item
- Items that are too lose/tight fitting (make sure you pick the right size or length)
- Personalized or custom-made items
- Items that have been worn, damaged, or altered
- Items that are not in their original condition and packaging
- Shipments to Malaysia
Do you offer refund?
We will offer store credits refund, equivalent to the price of the item that you paid excluding delivery fees, which you can use to place order for other items on our store. Store credits are valid for 6 months upon crediting.
How do I initiate a return or store credits refund?
- Contact us at info@madebycatleo.com with the title “[Return & Refund OR Return & Exchange] Order no.: xxxx”. In the email, provide your order number, reason of return, and attached a picture of the item.
- We will reply to your email within 1-2 business days on next steps.
- Upon receiving our reply, mail out the items within 7-days to our address via trackable postage only.
- Provide us with the tracking code via email
- Upon receiving the returned product, we will be in touch again:
- If you opted for exchange, we will advise on the next delivery date;
- If you opted for refund, we will advise on store credit refund date
Note: For exchange, we will replace with the design that you have originally purchased. However, some elements may not be in stock and we will replace accordingly based on available material.
Who is responsible for return shipping costs?
Return shipping costs will be payable by our customers who initiated the return.
Care & Maintenance
How should I care for my jewelry?
Clean your jewelry after each wear: This helps remove sweat, oils, and other substances that can build up and irritate the skin.
Store your jewelry properly: Each made comes with a sealable pouch & a fabric pouch. Keep each made separately into any of these pouches to avoid contact fro other elements (sunlight, moisture) that can cause tarnishing.
Remove jewelry before swimming, showering, or exercising: Chlorine, sweat, and other chemicals can damage jewelry and irritate the skin.
Avoid contact with perfume, alcohol, hairspray, and lotion.
Why does my jewelry turned black or less shiny?
Exposure to various elements in the air (moisture, sulphur that may be found in hairspray & lotion) and direct sunlight may cause jewelries to tarnish. Mixing our mades with other jewelries may also cause elements to transfer. Keep it sealed individually to extend the shelflife.
